another problem: wont start

Default another problem: wont start

ok early tonight aroun 8pm i got of work and we just had a heavy ass storm for like an hour ..so i drove around to the back of the store wheres a little road that goes all the way around and it perfect for slidin..anyways it was muddy as fuck and i was slidin around for a bit maybe 5mins?. got home and shot off and changed..came back out to start it up nothing.......clutch is compltely in and that little rubber thing is on tight on the pedal...i looked under the hood...everythings fine, it cranks and everything and tries to start but just chokes than makes a shake at the end of it....couldnt really look at the car as it was getting dark....anyone have any ideas.?

Long shot, unplug your maf and see if it'll start. I got a little bit of water on my air filter not too long ago from driving in the heavy rain and got enough water on the maf for it to do the same thing. Good luck.

If it is the air filter, does it matter if it's a cold air intake or not? Not sure where I remember hearing this but if you have a short ram it woudl be ok but if you have a cold air you'll be sucking in water?

i dont have a cold air intake..its pointless to have it so far away from the manifold ...how would i go about checking the fuel pump? i cant stand theses stupid ass little problems anymore

got it fixed.....must have been water in the maf...runs perfect.to make sure, i took her out slidin in the raina little bit ago
