Default info on sr20det

my friend has a nissan 200sx it is a 95 with sr20 in it has about 70k miles on it he bought a sr20det out of a 95 bluebird is there going to be any problems with swapping theses engines besides the tanny cause it is allwheel drive if so please let me kno thanks i appreciate it, also the sr20 that comes out will be up for sale so make offers if interested in it thanks again

the tranny isn't really an issue, you just don't use the RWD portion of it.

You should search here, SR20.net, nissanforums.com, this swap has been well documented online

so wat has to be done with the tranny also i should use the wiring harness out of the 200sx right not the one that is one the engine now right

nothing, just don't connect the driveshaft and rear portion. your buddy probably didn't even get that stuff w/ the engine.

yea im not sure i kno hes got the tranny and ill be putting in the engine but im use to hondas not nissans but i figure there all the same just wanted to make sure there would be no wiring i have to do

i don't know about the wiring.

why can't he use the bluebird tranny? I thought you just left the driveshaft etc.. disco'd? he can do either or no?

so this swap should be relitivly easy right switch the harnesses and tranny and put it back in rifht
