I'm about to buy an inline fuel pressure gauge. I'm not sure which one to get I.E. mechanical or liquid filled?

I believe liquid filled is more accurate? If someone can confirm, that would be great.

 

aren't liquid filled ones mecahnical also?? they are just filled with glycerine so they don't vibrate as bad as normal ones. so it's easier to get a good reading on them under heavy rpm /load etc

definately go mechanical if you plan on having it inside the cockpit.

but you said 'inline' so i assume you're just having it on the hose for making adjustments and etc. i'm needing one which one are you looking at? i browsed jcwhitney and such.

 

So when something explodes and crashes and your fuel pump is still pumping you get soaked in gasoline ????

count me out of that one!! Any pressure gauges inside of the cabin are electric only for me man...

THe auotmeter fuel pressure gauge distinctly says " DO NOT MOUNT INSIDE VEHICLE " and people still do it.

Yea. You won't clear tech on any organized racing with liquid-filled capillary tubes for mechanical gauges entering the cockpit of the car.

I'm talking about the ones that are IN the engine bay hooked up to the actual line. Where you pop the hood to see it inline on the fuel line.
