if you were me and you had the option to trade "evenup"
my :

red top SR
greddy intercooler.type-s BOV , radiator , intake , all caps ,
shift knob, gauges ..hks downpipe to a hks superdragger exhaust .....apexi AFC-R & AFCII ....and alot of other shit for :
a 1992 skyline GTS-T type M
w/44k...white.....some NISMO stuff
but over all just some bolt ons nothing real hot ......\
i love my car but the trend has tarnished my effort ....
i bought my car new knowing what a silvia was and worked hard
to build it......everyones got them now ...sucks....
i want a car that is exclusive and turns heads ......
there are to many parents out there trying to shut their
kid's ass up.... but a skyline would be hard to get vs. the s14
parts aren't that cheap for the SR either and i always
try to buy the best.....
rb20 motors kinda suck but theres always room for a rb26
i have always wanted a skyline ....GODZILLA
what would you do ?
i ya .....i'm not even sure if that 1 is legal anyways yet .
it's in cali right now owned by a tune shop ....
but i have another car to sling too...
so race only would'nt be that bad......

sounds to me the only reason you want to give up the S14 would be because you care what others think. Fuck bandwagon man who really gives a fuck!?!?!? The Skyline would be hot, the RB20 isn't bad. On the flip, If the S14 is good to you, why not keep it?

your right about fuck the"public image" but i do like to impress others as well being proud of the car .
....i paid $26 k for my car new when every body said get a type-R
i didn't care then because i knew of the s14's blackmagic and the skyline was untouchable for me.
now im at a cross roads of sorts and i do love my car .
and the S14 is way sexy next to the r32.
both are badass .but my IMAGE of the car has been tarnished...i'm a dork but i wanted to build a car that others didn't
find so common and flex my style ...oh well thankx for letting me vent .....

i'd stick to the s14. just do things to it that make it stand out as yours. im not talking ricershogunninja body kit but get some really sweet wheels with a little dish ("deep dish" isnt real common out here on the east coast from what i've seen), maybe finish out the aero with Japanese OEM bumpers and maybe get some original paint that you dont see too much but still can look at everyday.
r32s are nice for the whole attention whore thing but i've seen your s14 and its pretty clean and simple and quick. something that really isnt all too as common as you think. (at least one of those factors are missing from most swaps)
and ps --- how did you pay $26k for your car new? is that including all the upgrades? i know they were expensive back when they were from dealers but damn not that expensive.
