Default springs or adjustable coilovers?

I have allways purchased springs for my previous cars I was thinking eibach springs because I can get them from my work (employee discount) or I was thinking tein springs...I have'nt seen to many brands make adjustable coil overs for 240's besides brands that sell for 45$ dollars on ebay...But I want the car to sit pretty low enought that the tires are about even with the wells no tuck just even....Right now its a 4x4 I dunno if springs are going to lower it enough

Just looking for opinions as to what everyone has tried what you have and what you've heard...thanks in advance

Coils are going to be $800 to $2600 depending on what you want. If you're lucky, you could buy someones used coils, but that's like marrying a hooker. It'll be sloppy.
Springs.. you know, Eibach Pro-kits advertise 2" of drop, which is alot for a car with just over 6" clearance anyway.

If your looking to simply lower the car and have no further adjustablitly, due what I am going to do...pick up a set of Tein Basic Coilovers for $800 from pretty much anybody and have yourself a pretty decent ride. Really all comes down to money and what you want out of your suspension. I am looking for daily driving and a little 1/4 track use so Basics are the way I am heading.

KYB AGX have short travel, and are the struct/shock of choice for dropping a 240 with spring/shock combo. The only problem, is they are $300 for the shocks and $150-ish for the springs. Now you're $200 away from Tien basics, a full-on coilover like John's talking about.

Great info, I thought you were referring to the Teins. I knew they were Basics but I was hoping they were THAT basic.

neither ones do.

if you want to go low you shouldn't even use teins..

well it depends on your definition of low.

I'm TUCKING 215/45/17 on wolverine.

i'm scraping factory body kit. with an aftermarket body kit or side skirts or anytihing i would have to raise my car.

low is like. cusco comp2r or N1 pro or

silk road

HE are good too honestly

but if all youwant is looks?

cut your spring!
