splitfire.

not really worth the $ unless hitting 500hp. stock ones are cheaper to find individually if one is failing.

I dont think they are a complete waste of money. IF you had the extra $400ish bucks to spend it isnt too bad of a purchase. I was following a few peoples' threads on another nissan board where with the usual bolt-ons on some setups and upgrades all the way around on others there was a good increase in hp up to around 16whp one person claimed on the dyno with just simply switching out his stock ignition for a splitfire one. Only thing is there was no way of proving if his factory system was tired out before swapping. I believe that HKS makes a system of some sort or if your hardcore I remember Enthaply saying something about using a MSD or AEM system that you hardwire in elimating the igntior chip and upping the spark. Not sure 100% on what it does but if you search some of the other boards you'll find the info.
