and regina, dont forget the CRX... The SOHC has a definate advantage in those classes when it comes to torque, where as the DOHC in its class is underpowered by almost 40 HP

 

I've got a '90 with hrm 125k on it, and it seems to run strong...and outrun some dohc 240s i know...

 

its gotta be the gold paint bouncer... the uglier the SOHC 240 the faster it runs.

the gold paint is the pimp ish...I had someone offer me some header and cams for my engine..but decliened didn't see the point in building my sohc...

 

my first one blew due to overheating because the clutch on my fan broke...replaced that with an electric fan setup, and a new gasket, my stupid ass stocker radiator cracked...leaked coolant, overheated again. that was my second head gasket...replaced gasket, and got a new radiator. That was in the course of 6 months, Im now on backorder list for the tripple layer metal one from www.nizzx.com, its destined to doooooom! goodluck

Buck i really thing you'd like the SOHC built up. i've had twice, and once...i have a once in the car now, and a once in the garage being rebuilt with forged parts for boost...guess which one i like better?!
