question about cams
Found a S13 in a junk yard today and the date on the inside of the door says 4/91.I just wanted to make sure these were the more aggresive cams 240/240 or whatever they are.valve cover doesnt look like its been removed so the cams should be in good shape.
if its a green hatch at clearwater cophers it might be the one with 3 holes in the block. i have one of the rods. doubt its still there though.

4/91 is early enough that it should be a 91 model year. They usually don't start making next years model until July or August. Sounds dumb, but check the glove box for an owners manual.

yeah the date says 4-91 on the inside of the door ,its a dohc, and i dont think there is a manual. Is there any way to tell if they are the right cams with them being out of the engine.
scotch bright. check the vin letter thats the only way to tell. grab the one out of the 93 and the 91. put the 93 exhaust cam on your intake and the 91 exhaust cam as you exhaust. you want the more aggressive cam on the exhaust side.
