Default Not if he is worried abount maintenance issues.

I would not get a TT if your primary concearn is maintenance issues. It is cheaper no matter how you look at it to maintain an NA if solely based on the fact of not needing to worry with the hicas system and of course the turbos, intercoolers, etc...

However, if maintenance is not an issue find yourself a good TT. If you need any local information be sure to check out Harry's website www.ZTuner.com

man I cant tell you how much of an adventure you are about to get yourself into. It's a journey, an evolving transgression of emotions. The Z is a fine lady, but she is bitchy. Every girl has her pros and cons. This girl ... for putting up with her bitchiness, you are rewarded later with something special; it's a trade off. Before embarking this trip you'll need money, blood, time, patience, sweat, and some socket wrenches.

Default Haha, nice anology Steve.

Thats certainly a very interesting way to put it. Steve certainly knows of the woes involved in owning a TT and apparently the joys as well. His car is presently undergoing a massive rebuild.

I posted this in Roger's thread about his new ECU, and as I think about it, it may be appropriate here as well. Back in our first issue of Down Shift we ran an article on how to reach 400hp in 4 steps. This may give you an idea of costs, etc..

Is the Z32 suppost to out handle a S14 240SX? Even after both cars have suspension modifications?

Go to the next local SCCA solo event here inTampa & find out. My Z should be complete soon & I'am anxious to see what kind of times I can put down on a tight course.

The Z is more of a GT car.. I think that it'd be at a disadvantage NA vs NA or TT vs turbo 240 when it comes to handling on a tight course... The 300zx just plain has more weight and that always is a disadvantage

True, I'm over 3k lbs. but with modded suspension & the right tires this can be helped considerably. Currently shes a tail happy whore. 240's are lighter but tend to be tail happy as well with sr20 swaps(basiclly same suspension as Z)
