so yeah, just leaving my house today literally 30 seconds down the road there is no throttle... so i look under the hood, check fusesbox and i check the fuel pump fuse and that blew... try another one it blew out... i tried a 20 still blew... so any ideas on why they are blowing out?? thanks

 

a short is very possible...you can just remove the fuse and buy an aftermarket pump if you have the money.

 

time to pull out the fuel pump and make sure all that stuff is good..

 

yeah, i have a feeling maybe something is shorting in the fuel pump assembly... i will check it out tonight...

 

fuel pump assembly is perfectly fine... still blowing fuses... anyone??!!

 

wow, ok so after checking around and trial and error... i found it smoking behind my abs unit!!! so i take it all off and what to you know... wiring harness was torn up by abs unit somehow rubbing against it... leaving green w\ yellow stripe wire and black w\red stripe or vice versa SPLIT and touching like hand to penis... fixed it all up ... that coulda ended my day right there...
