gas tank?
i know now why my car was running like crap .rust in the tank or someing that color,i might be able to flush it out ,but i think i need a new tank......dose anyone know how much $ a gas tank for a 89 s13 coupe cost?

You are better off getting one from a junkyard. I recently had to swap mine out as it was leaking....this was on a 95 btw....
S13 is much easier to swap out as its right there under the trunk vs. s14 where you have to take down the whole rear subframe....
i found mine at Davidson used auto parts place near sr 60 and 50th street in Brandon area.

no rust in tank! why? it's plastic!
when we replaced Rinku's cracked tank, the gas at the bottom was piss orange and nasty. pull your current tank, empty out and reinstall. also replace fuel pick up sock inside tank and install new fuel filter. should be good to go then!

yea mechanic told me that my feul went "stale" and it was an orangish shade, i just turned on my fuel pump and pumped it into a bucket that i would soon use for a bond fire (stupid i know)
