How hard is it to do a motor / turbo swap on a 95 p/u std cab/short bed/ 2wd.?

 

What motor? Cab and bed have nothing to do with motor

it bolts in kinda... but you have to deal with the motor sitting at a stupid angle bc the front sway bar is up right under the SR oil pan.

then dont EVEN get me started inot wiring. nissan made everyone one of their vehicles so that the engine harness is independant of the body harness. not so ion the trucks! you have to completely disassemble the inside of the truck, undo ALL the harness, remove all engine controls, and graft in an SR harness.


WAY too much of a PUITA for me. i just finished one and i dont ever want to to do it again.

i didnt know if you had to change out the drive shaft, or shorten it or if the trans can be used. i guess the silvia turbo motor i guess its a 2.0.

 

how does it run, we did a swap on a mitsubishi p/u with a 2.6 turbo starion motor. i always wanted to do a nissian.
