ok well for the first time Im thinking about a 240sx....what's thing's to look for in buying one of thoses???what's a good price and is there anything i should know???

do you want an s14 or s13? for a clean, clean s13 (1xx,xxxmiles) i'd say no more than $2500, for an S14 its all relative...depends on a lot of things, mileage, modifications, condition, engine problems. Look for rust, engine noise (rattles, tapping, etc...) Try to buy a low mileage one from an old lady if there is such a 240. If they say they've replaced something big, ask for a receipt. Anything im missing?

Look for rust. On/under the hatch, near the door hinges, under the car, battery tray. That's the only thing I can think of besides normal wear/tear.

 

look for LOTS of rust.. and a single cam. preferably with and exhaust leek and bad headgasket. then BUY IT! sit on it for 6 months wishing for an SR and then sell it later for half of what you paid for it.

as far as what im looking for is a S13 and all the other stuff is avrage when buying a car but from what im seeing it sounds like they like to rust....?

or you can just buy one of the two S13s we have sitting here at our house....already SR swapped and everything.

 

look in peoples back yards and find once cam coupe for 100 beans

 

so what can be done with once cam engine's LOL are they even worht trying to build or are they like the rest of the single cam's and worthless for power???
