95 240SX SE, I had to replace the throttle bodies on it and now the Idle is too high, I made my own gasket for it but it seemed to seal pretty well, what are possibilities of idle being too high? I checked volts at the TPS, should I just try adjusting the idle or what? It idles around 1700 rpm, I'll rev it up, it'll go down to about 1200 and go right back up.

I'm pretty sure that there is a screw on the throttle body that keeps the plate slightly open. It should be under the throttle cable pulley. Just back it out until the RPMs drop.

 

or you have to adjust the Idle Air Control Vavle on the Intake manifold. Should be a blue plastic screw. If it doesnt help much it might be stuck open and you will either have to clean it or replace it.

dont know. i work everyday but sunday. ill prob be at the xat dyno day, but thats a long ways away. setup another fix it day. how much does it cost to get an alignment there. im guessing you know how to do it? ive never done it. need to get new tire/s before that though. just one or two.
