Default GA16 1.6 90K question

hey everyone

i'm approaching 90K on my engine (GA16DE 1.6 in a 200SX SE)(almost 100K on the car) and Im concerned that I may need something. recently I've had my fuel filter changed, about 1 1/2 -2 years ago I changed my wires and plugs.. No real maintenance has been needed. oil changes have been kept up with. The car runs fine but over time, I've definately noticed loss of power, and hesitation -Especially in the heat of Florida summer. If I get on it hard or even medium I notice the gurgling fuel noise which is my fuel pump right? So should I just replace it now or am I good? My mom used to have a 88 corolla that gurgled like that for years and the fuel pump never wound up dying.

so why the loss of power and what can I do about it?

do I need to have any maintenance done at this point?

how about my cooling system? never overheat but should it be flushed or something? (I really don't want to touch it if its not really necessary)

My temperature guage has bounced around since my engine was changed, its never been fixed but and it does give temperature readings. this cannot hurt anything important right?

I really appreciate your advice guys thanks

I've had a few cars that gurgled and all of them were low on coolant.

Also, my brother's GA16 needed a new cap and rotor (distributer) around 90k. His was so bad that the car would hardly drive, and actually died on the interstate. Replaced those parts, good as new.

"if it ain't broke don't fix it" -wise man

If ur car runs fine...the natural engine wear will make your engine slowly lose performance, to a point. Keep everything good oil changes, air filter, oil filter, fuel filter...make sure your belts are all good and your coolant is always full. pour in some injector cleaner too...sometimes a clogged injector will hinder performance.
