Default KA24E question...

The other day my water pump broke off and the fan attachted to it broke into pieces. I think the fan attaches to the this hub on the water pump. The fan makes the car really loud and i dont like the sound, so when i put on my new water pump, if i dont attach the fan back on will it make a difference? im guessing it was put there for a reason...or maybe if i get a new stock fan it wont make the same noise. any advance will help. thnx

yeah, that mechanical fan kinda cools your radiator so unless you have an electric fan you need it there.

The fan is there to draw heat away from the rdiator to some what cool it off. I guess it better then nothing at all.

just buy a dual electric fan if you dont like the mechanical. ive spent close to, if not more than, $700 on my cooling system.
