Default 02 sensor Q?

Which 02 sensor do you all reccomend for an aftermarket turbo elbow thing on a SR? I figure I might as well replace it since I noticed today that the ground wire is hanging on by 2 copper strands. If it helps, it is a 3 wire sensor. Thanks for any insight.

Hope this thing is gonna run like a champ tomorrow.

is it a redtop or blacktop. IIRC, redtop is fat style, blacktop is skinnier style o2 sensor. use accordingly. also i want to say a certain year of Z31 (84-89) had i believe the fat type o2 sensor.

Black.

Mine is the skinny style currently, but I do need the fat style to fill the fat hole.

I'd get mine through the dealership or through Bosch via NAPA if need be. I was just hoping for a reccomendation on what to do.

I've heard 87 300z turbo o2 sensor will work too, but don't hold me to that. Hopefully Scott or Matt can chime in for you. I THINK as long as it'a 3 wire sensor and screws in thats good enough.

I was thinking that since the gasket I need for my elbow stems from a 84-88 Turbo. Hmmm....

well i do believe the 88-89 z31's (or whenever they did the 'refresh' body style with the rounder front bumper) had the t25 turbo, and im pretty sure it will use the same o2 elbow as the SRs, therefore your o2 sensors should match up.

I was told the 87 300ZX blurbo one would be the ticket. I will cross referance those years as well and post the results just for common knowledge.
