I have a rattle noise from which I know its most likey my exhaust hitting something.....this happens when I slow down to a almost a dead stop. Gets annoying as fuck! Any ideas would be appreciated...

can you be more specific..location is it a rattle or a clank..

 

Could be the lower portion of your heat shield, thats where my rattling comes from.

 

Mine does something similer. Mine comes from the exhaust hanger on my N1 near the can in the back against some piece of metal on the chassis. I cut a hose, zip tied it on and it is now history.

heat sheild most likely, if it sounds like its right under you. My 90 240 does it, my friends 95 240 does it and my 2000 frontier does it. annoying as SH*T!

 

Zip ties are more of a DSM thing, but they are great on most applications.

I gotta show you my 13 sometime, sucio. Zip ties can be tasteful.

 

i'll have to look for something like that tomorrow.....real annoying!

drew you have n1 correct?

check the upper right (rearmost passenger side) portion of the resonator. mine rubbed on the driveshaft when i would be under 1500rpm sometimes just because the motor isnt the smoothest down there. that was on KA though.

 

Last time this happened to me I had a broken motor mount.
