Exhuast troubles 300zx
Heres the deal guys, i gotta 1990 300zx TT with a busted up stocl exhuast. My dad offered to replace the stock exhaust with a new stock setup, but i figured since i was gonna want to swap out the exhuast anyways i might as well do it now you know. Anyways, he said he'd throw in 100$ since he would have to do it for the stock one anyways, just wonderin what the best exhaust system is that i can get for my money. I'm lookin to spend no more then 800 bucks. I had placed an order for the HKS HiPower exhuast but i heard they got rust problems and it was only 2.5" piping. help me out here, lookin for 3" piping and a nice exhuast tone.
everyone has different opinions about what the best exhaust is for the z32tt.... do a search on 300zxforums.com or twinturbo.net most will argue that 3" is overkill seeing as how the Z32 has true dual exhausts. search
HKS Hypers are hideous
Like was said above 3" is overkill on a Z and you should search TT.net, my prefrence is a Labree Exhaust, I also liked the Greddy exhaust on my old Z but it used a H pipe and had sharper bends, the Labree has smooth bends and a X pipe (better IMO) and both are within your price range.
Heres a link to both...

I agree the 3" is overkill unless you are going with a lot of HP, and the cost depends on what you are looking to replace:
1. Catback
2.Test Pipes
3. down pipes
If just the catback then the most cost effective might be to have a local shop do the piping and spend the bulk of the money on some nice mufflers.
Sorry I have no advice on systems out there as I had mine custom made and bought some Sebring Mufflers to finish it off.
