So let me tell you a little about my problem first. Before when it used to work sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldnt. If you hit the door couple times it would work. One day the window just decided to roll down by itself and stop working. I took the door apart and theres an amp (white box) clicking when i push the switch but it wouldnt move. so i took the regulator out along wtih the motor. im not sure if the motor still works or not but i took it out so i could put the window back up. and now all thats holding the window up is a pair of vice lock grips on the rail. Since I took the motor out i think its all messed up now. But does anyone have any suggestions? Buy a new motor? buy a regulator with the motor on it? or what? Maybe theres something else that could be broken that I dont know about? Any suggestions are appriciated. And if anyone has any of these parts let me know coz i dont want to buy anything at nissan and maybe it'll save me some time from the junkyard. thanks and sorry for the long post. `karl.

that happens to a lot of the s14's. happened to mine and one of my friends. just get a new motor

 

any suggestions where to find a motor the cheapest?

I have a motor and track. All i did with mine though because it turned out to be the amp ... ( exact same thing that yours did happened to me ) i just ran two wires from the passenger side to the drivers side and tucked them away. Not sure how much the amp costs, but it saved me money none the less. If you want the motor let me know
