Hi all,

As some of you know that i was leaking fuel from under the fuel tank. So today we went to Macdill to take care of that by changing the three soft fuel lines that run to passenger side hard lines.

Anyhow, we changed the three rubber fuel lines that go from the access panel on top towards the passeger side to hook up to the hard lines there.

We put some more fuel in the car at the gas station and after that we were loosing fuel under all over the gas tank like a shower.

Now upon further diagnose those three lines are all fine......for that matter the old ones were fine too..... There is one more rubber fuel line that goes from underneath the access panel behind the back seat towards driver side rear and goes back into the tank. This is according to the s14 FSM FE section diagram from an S14 ka manual on page FE-3

is that evap/carbon canister/excess fuel discharge thing? and does it have fuel? or fuel vapor? can that be the curlprit and leaking gas?

FUEL TANK is leaking?......:o

I searched and searched and cant' find any info on s14 fuel tank going bad......(thinking at the seam as its two part)

all s14's have same fuel tank per parts manual that i have. I will double check that. I need to get a used gas tank for a S14. I got a lead or two. Anyone other leads you guys may have can be PMed to me and i would appreciate that very much.

We'll go searching for that starting Monday.

That's all i can think of as of right now. Its been a very long day.

Amazing how we upgraded a clutch and flywheel but failed to find that rear leak

We got the front leak though! Keep me updated w/ when and who is coming down for the install/fix.

You're getting the tank from Russ? We can always just patch it...

Lately its been few bad months for me as to making the meets..SHIT comes up at the last minute.....Me and Jerry stopped by for an hour or so but the Z crew went directly to Hillsborough Sonic as they were working on a SCUBA STEVE's car at Rob's house.
