I was being serious. You did have the first, and to a certain extent much of what has become of the Sr culture is owed to those of you that first put the SR's in your US spec cars. Thats all.

I know back when I had my SR, back in the old 240sx forums days we all looked to you and a few others as we built ours. My SR swap didnt have power steering or a/c, so its terrific for me to watch how far along everyone is taking it these days.

Its amazing how slow a thread can move, ut bring in one hint of conflict and boom! Anyways...no conflict here, Doug just wanted a widebody convertable. Dont always have to be the first at things. My s14 and dougs conv wont break any major ground....just clean cars. Our next proect cars should break some ground though......

Also, the paint color is actually quite different. The wide hatch was copper i thought. Our conv is candy tangerine over metalic red. Looks different in different lights
