Default List for an SR20DET install:

Can somebody do me a favor and put together an entire list of components needed to install an SR? I'll be doing all the work myself with a couple other people there to guide me through it in case I get caught up. I've done a search and could only find different places that specialize in it. The reason I'm asking this is because I'm going to be buying the motorset not the frontclip, to save some money in the long run.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In my opinion, the probability of you saving money by buying a motor set rather than a clip now is very slim. My suggestion is to go and buy a clip.

Sourcing parts for motorset to work properly may just leave you broke in the longrun......just a suggestion

Thanks, I considered that, but was able to find an S13 blacktop engine set for 1500 in Miami.

Quick list I came up with, feel free to add-on if you can:

Hks or Greddy Intercooler: about $850.00 or so.

ApexI 3 inch catback exhst: 400.00

Blowoffvalve/ hotpipe: right around 200.00

Downpipe: 150.00 give or take a few dollars.

Act clutch or Spec Stage 2: 325.00

Walbro fuel pump: 100.00

K and N filter and aluminum intake adapter: 55.00

Motor oil, PowerSteering Fluid, Transmission oil, coolant: 55.00

Radiator hoses and heater hoses, belts: 99.00

Oil Filter, Fuel Filter, and plugs: 35.00

Heat wrap tape: 14.00.

Boost, fuel pressure gauges, and pod: 150.00

Grand total comes out to: $3,933

If I went with the front clip, that amount would be reached just after buying the intercooler and clutch.

Harness..cut uncut?
Cut-Add 350-500 plus wiring to your US car
MAF, Ignigtor, ECU, if not, then your looking at another $500+/-
Slim battery or relo kit-$50-$150
Cold Pipe-$75 to $100 maybe?
Your bov/flange/hotpipe is going to probaly cost $250 or more depending on what type of BOV, Hotpipe, Flange, and who welds it on and what the charge.

Aftermarket Fans and Radiator
Koyo Radiator-$330+
Flex-a-lite Dual Fans with thermostat(model 210)IF you plan on keeping a/c-$210+

Your looking at more around $5500+ without labor. Give or take a buck or two. If you really wanted to go as much stock as possbile check out XAT's list and pricing to get an example on what it costs.

My brother runs AC with FMIC on a stock radiator/fans without a problem (though it hasn't hit 95 there yet). Adding a FAL-210 on stock radiator should be enough. Also, the cold pipe should come with the IC kit. It better for $850!

Ralph is right, though. OEM parts like harness, ignitor, and ecu, are expensive. Hot pipe with flange will probably be $130. It's the BOV that can get expensive.

The rest of your prices look good though. Looks like you've at least done some research!
