(90 s13) CA swap ready to go....
everyone is for the SR, but the CA would be my choice because of the iron block and direct acting valve train. its just has reliabilty issues cause of the nissan crappy engine managment. i heard once you do the head gasket that its just as reliable as an SR if you go to stand alone. but i may be wrong.

I've seen and worked on a red S13 with a CA. Smallish IC, attic vent on the hood, homebrew exhaust... is this the same one? I'd like hear the story of it... and tell the previous owner some new stories about it and it's 16yo owner!
