everyone is for the SR, but the CA would be my choice because of the iron block and direct acting valve train. its just has reliabilty issues cause of the nissan crappy engine managment. i heard once you do the head gasket that its just as reliable as an SR if you go to stand alone. but i may be wrong.

I think something else with the cooling system is also a weak spot for the CA as well..

I've seen and worked on a red S13 with a CA. Smallish IC, attic vent on the hood, homebrew exhaust... is this the same one? I'd like hear the story of it... and tell the previous owner some new stories about it and it's 16yo owner!

The red s13 was my friend Chris's car, did swap in 2001. Drove it around pretty stock for awhile, upgraded intercooler, turbo died, crazy overheating/electrical problems, sold to Nissan dealership on fletcher.

aren't CA's ALL iron, including the head?? if so, blow the head gasket, i wanna see a block and head get welded together jk, good luck w/ the swap
