sr no start

Default sr no start

ermmm... dahs lights on, fuel pump on, every other electronic... its clicking but not turning over.. all wires to starter are on and tight...any ideas?? i think something is not giving spark but i cant really think right now.. help thanks

by clicking, do you mean not spinning the engine at all, but rather a quick clicking noise. If so the battery does not have enough power or the starter is not getting enough power. Try jumping it or checking your battery terminals and starter connections for loose connections.

Starter turning over? If not could either be starter or solenoid. Also check voltage on battery.

Probably your ignitor chip, my brothers went out and the same things happened.

starter is dead. a bad ignitor will not stop the car from turning over, it will just not spark.

it could be a starter relay, it is located behind the battery, right behind the passenger side headlight, big blue relay with two plugs. Unplug the large grey plug on it, and jumper the wires, then try to start it. If it still doesnt work, then either starters bad, or clutch switch

if its the cluch switch, the solenoid will not kick.


same goes for the relay. if the relay is dead, the solenoid wont kick

yeah ive always had a problem with starters going bad on me... changed done running thanks for replies...
