S-AFC Wiring Whoas Solved! But Another Question
Dumb ass me figured out why I was only getting a %0.4 air flow reading from my S-AFC since I installed it 4 months ago. I had the wrong wire tapped for the air flow reading.
I knew it had to be somehting stupid like that. Now my question is what is like the maximum reading I should get from it with no turbo or any intake upgrades. Right now it's around %40 when I rev it to like 6000 rpm. Is this about right or does my dumb ass still have something messed up?
Thanks,
Tyler

Update: I took my car around town and it starts sputtering when taking off and will do so randomely when cruising at a fixed rpm down the road. It does seem to pull a hell of a lot harder than it did. I left all the settings on the factory settings and I am not correcting the air flow signal whatsoever, so why is it stuttering? It feel like it is starving for fuel then it finally goes. I am going to hook up my air/flow meter tomorrow so I can make sure I am not running lean. Any input would be appreciated.
My car does the same thing. I have no clue what it is. At about 2300Rpm in any gear when crusing at a moderate speed is feels like it wants to go but sputters. I just learn to live with it.
Now that I think back I remember seeing in the wiring manual that the ground wires (black and brown with the brown one closest to the ecu) need to be 1 cm apart from each other on the ground wire you are tapping into on the ecu. Mine is more like an inch. Could this be the problem?
