ok... so i have the profec b set all the way to sharp... and i set it to 15psi in 5th gear... now if i set it any closer to the mild side it doesnt boost as smooth... but now here is the situation.. set at 15 psi i can only get 10psi in 1st gear but right as i shift into 2nd it boost to 15, 3rd, same then it dies off to 10 which it is supposed to... so question is why cant i get 15 psi in first gear???

can you elaborate a little more when u say.. not enough load?

 

your car gets through the gear too fast the turbine dosent have time to spin up....

I'd be willing to bet that if you rode the brakes in first gear you'd get full boost then.. just hold the brakes and go WOT at like 4500-5000 rpm...

 

but even at 10 psi 1st gear isnt that fast... i still have time to pick my nose if i were to hold it at 3k and then floor it in first gear...
