Ok, after all my interesting issues, I have a new one that I haven't been able to fix for several days.

Seems my car is running very lean, new plugs I put in three days ago are white on the electrode. At the time I also did the plug wires, cleaned the contacts on the rotor for the dist. cap, and timing. Just recently replaced the fuel filter. Plugs are also gapped properly. My ecu is resetting tonight, so I guess my next thing to check is the fuel pressure, then clean the injectors huh?

Any other options are welcome.

becareful with the cleaning fluids..it eats through the seals..but my guess is the injectors are clogged...i would say replace them just to be on the safe side

wll, the fun part is that the plug I replaced were almost a golden brown. If it was running lean before they were replaced It probably woulda been at least a little white right?

might be, i'm running some injector cleaner through, and i'm gunna check the fuel pressure, see what happens there, that should remove the possibility of having a fuel leak or a bad fuel pump. i'm hoping the ecu reset does it, but I doubt it

let us know how that works..i would be hesitant on the injector clearner..but if all else fails replace the injectors

Meh, can't hurt really. And it's easier than replacing the injectors

Heh, time to go to the junk yard. I wanna run this fuel system cleaner out :-p. Wish I could get smoeone who knows alot about z31's to give me a hand figuring this out. It's quite baffling

You got many of us. =-D. There are no z31 psychics. No one can talk to a car and knows. Takes process of elimination. We will figure it out. Hang in there until we hit up the junkyard Thurs. I will see what I can find out.

well, tomorrow I get to check my fuel pressure, so that will tell me if it's the fuel pump or the lines. That leaves the injectors really, since everything else has checked out
