Slash621: stupid KA is being stupid again on hicas

Slash621: the car was fine OTW to sebring.. was fine yesterday
Slash621: oil pan bolt is tight
Slash621: then thismorning it'd dumped a bit of oil
Slash621: so i thought it was the filter cause it scoming from that area, so i tightened that
Slash621: but now its still acting up and leaking.. ive also got the bottom end noise again........... and the noise at 2000 rpm's..

Now I'm gonna fill it up before I go back to orlando, drive it there, to make sure all the oil blows off the undercarrage, and then check the oil in orlando again as well as see if it drops more and makes noise...

 

its that time of the month, mine is on heavy leak cycle too, from the unfortunty of bad front and rear seals.

 

what's up with the seal prices for the KA's? front is like $7 or $8 and rear is like $45!!! i hate how expensive shit is for my car!
Oil can run down, are you sure its coming from the block right near the filter? check and see if its running from somewhere else

 

uh oh uh oh... oil filter housing???....

 

Not sure, but ATM its not leaking fast enough to cause a majorly critical problem. I'll keep topping it off till I find and fix the problem, or it goes away, or the motor cooks itself off (the fun solution )
