i know that if you want to drop a red top sr into a s14 chasis, there are slight modifications, but if i wanted to drop a ka24de (from a 98ish) 240 into a s13, is it any easier/harder. i was planning on getting a real old 89ish 240 and i just wanted a newer engine. im sure that someone has a kad24de engine rolling around. i am hoping to find an engine like a s14 ka with fewer than 100k on the engine. guys at xat / secret services im sure do this swap day in and day out. how much will such a project cost? will i need to get new engine/transmission mounts? for that matter what parts will i absolutely have to buy?
