1500 backfire

Default 1500 backfire

ok, so car always does it at 1500 but when i took off mani and turbo to tighten and replace... once i put it back it hasnt been doing the 1500 rpm backfire??? and supposedly only the "healthy" sr's do the trick at 1500... what might i have missed while puttin gback turbo and manofild?? thanks

Every one of my friends SRs, including mine, all do sweet backfires at 1500. I can do it at will most of the time.

so what would cause it not to, it was just doing it right before i tightened down the turbo...

I was told once that it happens because of a powered o2 sensor that is usually not corrected right, but to be honest I think its pretty sweet to light up the road at night with a nice big flame out the back.
