Default NIsmo Power Brace or Tanabe Lower front

Hello
I'm debating if to get the NIsmo Power brace ( http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...=54480-RSS51US)or buy my friends Tanabe front brace (http://www.tougefactory.com/shop/images/179.jpg). Which one is better? Do they bith do the same thing? Is one better built thna the other? I plan on getting some Dg trials Tension rods as well, since my front end feels sloppy.
Thanks

if you don't already have coilovers...get them first. that will clear up the majority of slop then get the TC RODS

i hear the s14's already have the 'holes' in the stock t/c supports, thus making the nismo power brace not all that worth it, since ur only buying the cross bar, and that the tanabe or kazama would be a better value (or welding your own power brace together for like $10). but dont quote me on that, it might just be 97-98 that has it but im pretty sure all s14 have it. s13 i would go with nismo bar.

i have the nismo bar. didnt get to notice anything cause i only drove it lightly for about 2 hours before the motor went.

but looking at the power brace. all they do is take the stock tc rod brackets, get 2 1/4" thick steel plates, and a 1" bar thats about 2' long. they place the steel plates on the inside of the brackets and weld them in. then weld the bar between the brackets to the plates. then they paint the thing silver and give you a nismo sticker. all in all it should cost you no more than $20 including paint minus the nismo sticker. or you can pay $185+tax and get the real thing or buy the $100 tanabe one.
