Default Classic SE-R, low budget horseees needed

Hey guys, not really new to TR, but kinda newb to Nissan Tech. I was curious to know what kinda low budget stuff I can do to squeeze out a few extra horses. Any info is useful. Here's stuff thats already done. Thanx

1994 SE-R

Lowport, I believe. Stock cams.
Jim Wolf Technology ECU
HotShot Header, stock catback and muffler
CAI
Tokicos all around, like that has anything to do with it.
Old, stock clutch.
Edit- Timing is advanced as well

Haven't taken it to the track, but I'm sure I'm in the low 15s if not upper 14s.

advance the timing is good for a few HP. Then, save up for JWT S4 cams.

Oops, forgot about that. I think it's around 17 degrees now. You could tell by the rough idle.

Uh, you shouldn't have a rough idle at 17*. that is actually within factory specs anyway. I noticed the most when I went to 19*. Also, find an intake cam from a 91se-r. it will make a noticable gain and can be had for less than $100. you can also look into a two piece pulley set from UR. those can be found for less than $200. the mods from there on out pretty much get more expensive.

Oh I almost forgot.. Get the es motor mount inserts or the place racing motor mounts. It will help wheelhop alittle and your car will actually feel more responsive. it will vibrate a little more though but you get used to it. It isnt unbearable. goodluck

forgot to add.. I actually had a place racing cold air intake and took it off in rainy season and I actually ran faster 1/4mile times with the short ram over the complete cold air. I tested this theory twice with the same results. You may want to give it a whirl since its about to be rainy season again.

Boostin', I'm not too sure if the previous owner didn't already put in the motor mounts, but I don't get wheel hop at all. I know they help put more hp to the ground. Good call on the cams, thats why I mentioned mine were stock.

It's funny how you got the results you did with the short ram, wierd. I'm thinking of goin to SS to get my baby dyno'd, I wanna see what I'm workin with so far, and test your theory.

Wow, I can actually contribute something to TR. Thanks for the input guys.

Get a catback & S4 cams. I have a CAI, exhaust, Header, timing and a 91 cam. Good for high 14's. You won't break 14's without the exhaust and 91 cam addition. I'd say mid 14's with the S4's.
