Sweet, have you ever been out to any of the nissan meets? You'll have to bring it out when it's done.

This is most likely because there are no FACTUAL bonuses to putting an RB25 into an S13....

About the only thing you get to say is that

A: you make more torque at lower revs than an SR20 (which is offset by the extra weight so it dosent matter)
B: You can say u have a skyline motor..

Big freakin deal it seems to me... If it really means that much to you to have the bragging rights then thats ok.. I just have a pretty solid feeling that after u race some of the Secret Services SR powered cars your going to be thinking twice about all the $$$ you spent on an RB....

let me put it this way there is an rb25det power skyline in australia from a guy who owns a skyline shop there that is 800hp to the wheels with a top speed of 210 miles per hour, accomplish in a 2 miles distance while beating a toyota supra in a race.. If you don't belive me check the links of the skylinedownunder websites is in one of their links with pictures and dino charts...if you can show me an sr that can accomplish that than we I will say that I spend my money on the wrong motor untill then, I think there is a reason why the skyline is the premier car for racing in japan...

jun hyper lemon silvia ran 8.8 in the 1/4 mile back in like 1998.

if it was geared differently it would go 210, no problem

and, oh look
VCD Option2 vol.34 200SX&SILVIA

jun hyper lemon silvia goes 320 km/h

that's a big if, and even if they do get it to do that how much money will they have spend on it... in the long run if you are going for top power and speed the inline 6 is better... I'll bet jun spend more than $20,000 on that car. plus you talking about a race can while I talking about a street car that is not race profesionely. I'll bet if he had invested as much money as jun spend on that silvia he would kick it"s ass..

I gotta give props to nskilne95 for taken everybodys shit and turning it around on em. I've always liked the RB for the same reasons and I think its cool that not only is he actually getting this done but he's alsoeffectively fighting off the hoards of the SR bandwagon. Also, everyone needs to understand that to some people, a single turboed inline 6 sounds so much sweeter. rock on man
