Is there any way to take the govornor off my s13, it hits at 115 , but im still pulling, and it pisses me off.

 

If you cut the signal to the ecu, won't the speedometer stop working? OR is that sometyhing else? My friend wanted to do this to his 240 before but didnt know what to do...

 

what does it really matter if the speedo doesnt work anymore? it stops at 110 or 115 anyways and speed cut is 118 i think so it really doesnt matter.

 

its nice to know your exact speed when ' the man 'is behind you trying to pull you over

 

couldnt you allways hook up a switch to to cut the speed cut in 4th or 5th once you have gone over 110MPH? i mean if your going over 110 it really doesnt matter if you have a speedo cause thats all yours goes to unless you have the 180mph speedo mod.

i dunno thats just my thought.

Speaking of which, I just installed my prototype modded 180mph speedo this weekend. Works like a charm. I'd post the necessary mod, but you need my speed sensor simulator to tune it. So easy, so cool, so free!
