Mounting a turbo SR transversely and adding the rear diff would have been easier! Nissan Bluebird (altima) comes with AWD and a (transverse) SR20DET stock.

That approach is pretty wild though! I want to see the altima drift!

the car currently has an open diff S13 rear, but as soon as the machine shop makes the prototype it will have a custom LSD.

yes, the U13 SSS comes in AWD but it is biased to FWD with rear assist, it can not be made to drift via the gas pedal (talk to an EVO owner). Another consern was the cost of shipping the parts, I could of had a compleate car shipped for $4000 to port Tampa. But after talking to some people Whiteline in AU I find that the SSS trannys, CV's and rear diff is easily broken and the only fix is to replace what you can with GTi-R parts. The delecate U13 parts were not worth the expense and only some of the GTi-R parts can be used. So the end result is a collection of parts with 100% aftermarket support, are easy to replace and source locally.
