ok, if i let my car idle for more than like 5 mins my car will sputter at 1500 rpms. i have to restart my car to make it stop, after that, it drives fine. something gets stuck or something, just not sure what it is

well originally i thought that it could be my idle air control but it just didnt sound right. Do u have any ideas on what i could check?

 

ermmm, sputter like if you gave it full throttle it would just not go anywhere?? and i mean no where??? check your tps

 

Could be a knock sensor acting up.

ermm my experiences with knock sensor pretty much just involves... sluggishness not so much stuttering or pauses..

 

Maybe not a knock sensor. But why discard this suggestion when this guys looking for some help.

i totally forgot about the tps. it only happens if i let it idle for too long so its really confusing
