My friends got an sr20det in an s13 and we were drivin around today and it was boosting good and all then we stopped somewhere and when we got back going it was kinda hesitant. Its boosting but not going anywhere at all. It kinda feels like its studdering/hesitating. Also its boosting like 5lbs at 2500rpm's and before it wasnt barely boosting at all until about 2900rpm's. Anyone know what is wrong or could be wrong????

 

timing could be off, intercooler piping could be f'd up ?

i can diagnose it for you at secret services, but first you should check all the basig things.

air flow meter tps timing plugs ? intercooler piping, bad gas ? blown turbo ? etc

 

Probably a loose IC pipe or his timing is retarded

 

Its running back to normal now and I think that it was the new clutch slipping. It kinda smelled like it was burning a little bit. When he gets on the new clutch hard it starts kinda burning and slips a little. Thanks for your responses though.

 

break in the clutch befoer romping on it!!!

 

my car kinda did the same thing but mine had to do with the MAF, one of the wires was severed and was barely touching it making the car sputter and other shit
