ok nissan gods.......i want to know what the differences are between the ca18det and the sr are. what i mean is what are the small differnences.....like whats the difference in wiring?. turbo size?, coolant inlet/outlets. the small shit you need to know when doing a swap. should be the same tranny, right? will the sr down pipe work? etc.... now i'm talking about s13 CA vs. s13 SR just so there's no confusion.

the downpipe is put in a slightly different location.

wiring is a little bit different but not by much. get fuel pump negative get coils power get ignition power and youre good to go

the turbo has a smaller exhasut a/r and compressor a/r. the coolant inlet outlet is like a ka. tranny is like a ka.


dont' bother with the ca

why not bother with the ca? it's got an iron block a a square bore stroke ratio

and the ycost about 700 less than an sr

when alumnium blocks on totally internally stock motors hold 600whp... who needs iron...
