well today i waz going to install my S-techs , key word being "waz"..i waz able to get all the shock mount bolts off except for one..it wouldnt come off with air tools , all it did waz eat the bolt up..so the bolt is stuck on the stud, what should i do?

 

Old fashioned ways:

1. Closed 14mm wrench and pry with breaker bar (metal pipe of some sort).

2. Vice Grip and pry w/ breaker bar.

 

vice grips on the nut. heat it a little and spray WD40 on it let soak for an hour..and try vive grips...worst case is you gring it off....

tap that bolt with the hammer 3 times... for some reason that stupid trick works for me.... butyeah vice grips...

 

thanks jonas, ill try that tomorrow for round 2 ,did the vice grips thing no luck, thats why i asked, thought about breaking it off but i dont want to damage the stud
