spark plugs

put NGK plugs in it, gap them to 28, not the gap out of the box

bleee u just dont wanna get into it with CA's Taylor... What MAFS are u using.. ECU number ? Where is the timing set to ? CA's are extremely finicky about timing... Check to make sure your fuel pressure regulator is plugged in... it is one of the three tiny metal lines running between runner # 3 and 4... CA's hate not having that plugged in as well

This was my CA when I had it

i'm using a ca18det mafs, the ecu # is 98, i changed my timing belt before the install and i installed it the same way it cam off(line up the white lines on the belt to the dots on the cam gears and the crank i think was supposed to be lined up on the second notch from the left to the timing tab)

the only thing i see between 3 and 4 is an intake manifold brace. the regulator has its vacuum line attached and the return line is going to the appropriate place.

haus more than likely you have a boost leak.

if the car drives fine till some boost comes on, more than likely thats the culprit. with nissan MAF's it accounts for all air in the system....if under boost it starts leaking air out, then you'll start running real rich and it wont work right. my car had a STUBBORN boost leak on the turbo to hotpipe coupler.

if u cant track it down, and it runs fine in vacuum, drive it over to Z Fever and let them take a look at it.
