EGR Tube
Thats a diagram from a 96 240sx..I dont think they are different...the exhaust manifold is to the left also pictured...is the pipe your talking about right below the arrow to the right?

See, what I dont understand completetly is what exactly has to be removed or capped...can anyone clarify?

Open up your hood look at yor exhaust manifold, find the metal pipe that wraps around to the EGR valve. It will be running near the fire wall (difficult to see with everything bolted on but still noticeable). That is the tube I'm referring to. Since mine is already off I'm going to cut the pipe, pinch back both ends and then weld and tighten the each fiting back on from where they were attached to. May not look pretty but it will due. I'm doing this because it is not a required thing for the aftermarket header that is on my car. With the pipe "pinched" apart all my exhaust will go out instead of some recirculating back into the motor, this will help with horsepower.
