A couple people I know of have had good results doing this. I think a turbo application would benefit with the carbon fibre plenum, no?

I think allot of R&D needs to be done to come up with a good plenum for each application though. Mattback has a new idea for his project

Seriously? No, 'cause the CF plenum is not actually sealed against positive pressure. It is intended only to channel atmospheric air to the stacks via an intake tube. If it were a totally sealed one piece design, it might work fine for that. The welded aluminum plenum is the only one pictured that will sustain boost pressures, though.

What would be the problem with running these on the street? Looka alot like the setup (the throttle bodies) on my R1....and that intake is pretty sweet (price is not bad either...I could not make it for less than that).....thats one sexy set-up.....

I can see that balancing them out would be difgficult for some people (the right tools make it easy)...but you really do not have to do it that often....and it really only affects off idle snap and some idling issues (out of balance will creat a hunting of idle...but its not enough to bug most people).

I suppose the real question is what benefits. I dont think you could get much of anything beneficial in the 200 - 400 HP range. Ive seen these before on race trim NSX's with superchargers, so Im assuming the idle might be a little too hardcore for daily driving. However I would like to encourage one of you guys with the "shops" to give em a shot and see what ya could do.
