so i was driving today everything was fine... ermm then i was at a stop and once i start going in 1st it was driving like i was in 5th..?? so much lag... boost guage was readin right amount of boost that i set but it was feeling so sluggish... ermm yeah even in 2nd and this happens to about 3-4k... so i reached my destination turned off car and when i left drove home and everything else was back to normal?? help on what this might be... i know it might be simple but yeah iam dumb

 

Happens to me once and a while... I think the knock sensor might pick up on a noise, and retard timing severily when this happens I just shut my car off and turn it back on.

 

that's exactly what happens when the knock sensors freak out on 300zxtt's. sr's have about the same issues with knock, so look for that to be the problem.

however, a bad coolant temperature sensor might also have something to do with it.

 

k so i guess i should lose sleep over this tonight?
