I dunno either where the Z comes from, maybe has something to do with Zen? The japanese sure have a thing for putting z at the ened of anything..... guess its the uber thing to do in the land of the rising sun............. PS...... Chevy's are clownshoes...... The only Domestic I'll touch has mopar in the parts and the engine ends in ..... emi......

Lets put it this way. Nissan creates and created lines of Z cars Fairlady Z,280 Zx, 280Z, 300Zx, and the 350 Z . What does chevy have??? One little car called the camaro which has a model of Z 28... big deal. get over it.
Nissan ownZ the Z, honestly. I'm a prior Z28 owner, and I knew when someone was discussing a "Z" they were talking 6 cylinders, not 8.
