Default Crazy suspension Test ride session!!!

As most of you know or may not know, I'm putting the following suspension pieces onto the Wolverine for the time being.

1) Tein HE Winding Master coilovers
2) Stillen Solid adjustable TC Rod
3) Battle Version Rear upper camber arm
4) Battle Version Rear toe arm
5) SPL PARTS subframe spacer
6) Poly front control arm bushing (if it comes in in time)

The car already has an excellent working limited slip differential ( I am swapping my broken lsd for my good one this weekend) , and will have power steering again this weekend as well.

I figure If you guys are interested, you can drive my car around some to feel what crazy suspension work will actually do to your car, as far as stiffness, response, turn in , etc. I may even be on my 17's all around, so that 15 inch tire soft sidewall bounce will be gone.

I think this will be a very good opportunity for you guys getting into suspension to see what you really want out of your S chassis.

Hey mattback, your cool as f**k. I don't know many people that would let others drive their car to get an idea of what suspension mods will do for you. Personally I don't want to drive your car but would you mind letting me ride along as you do your thing? I'm ready to let my car do what it's design let's it do best, given the fact we are away from any nasty curbs and big shit to hit as I don't feel like walking home from Tampa.

well it's not like its going to jump out and attack you! You don't have to push it to understand what it's doing, and we have plenty of nice roads near Secret Services that allows you to just cruise it through turns to understand its characteristics from a stock 13. We will even have a stock 13 there for you to test them back and forth.

But of course, If you want to feel the disaster that is sideways before , through, and after a turn, then I'll gladly give test rides

Just remember, sohc motor. 102 WHP. not exactly dangerous It's all in the shift_weight, and knowing what you're doing.

Thats what I need to do (learn what I'm doing). I bought the drift bible, studied it, and have been practicing on some roads near my house, but I need a huge empty parking lot to play in and not 90 degree intersections in the boonies. I would like to ride along to see what techniques you use in various situations like do you stab it and dump the clutch at the corner intrance or brake just enough to shift the weight on your front tires entering the corner then give it hell through the corner? Watching the drift bible is decieving in that he says you don't need much gas to keep it sliding but then look at what he was driving.

how are the coilovers overall? I cant wait until the Tein SS and Flex's come out for the B13 SER and NX2000. How much of a pita is it to get a good setup dialed in ? I know the SS and Flex's are 16 way adjustable. kind of intimidating.
