what year is your car. just wondering cuz i have a 2000 maxima VQ30DE and ill be lookin to get exhaust in a couple months when i get money too. im also saving for the cattman headers and y-pipe combo, and with catback exhaust, im hoping this setup will haul. Anyway, let me know where you decide to get it done and how good of a job they do if you dont mind. Thanks

chin- i understand that but u got to have the funds or know someone that has a chop shop, unfortunately i dont have either. But atleast it will sound decent. BTW do you still have that y-pipe from your old car.

yea kevin does good work at North tampa, he did my Supra from Turbo back , piping was 100 which waz good, but i will be going to Adam at XAT hopefully this week for the 240

 

Kevin does excellant work. He did my old custom 2 1/4" catback setup on a car I used to have. Would recommend him to anyone.

 

I'll have to look into this North Tampa Customs. I have been tossing around the idea of having my Borla catback replaced with a custom setup from the manifold back, eliminating my cats, and AIV valves (Cats are just gutted presently)

The question will be if they can replicate the look of the HKS Hypers with something along the lines of the N1 cans. Worth looking into.

 

only if you knew, you should see the maxima's setup. 2 pre cats plus shitty ass bends on the stock ypipe. Dyno proven 10whp N/A on the Cattman y-pipe alone, plus if you did go supercharged that number would be alot higher. They make 2.5" and 3" but thats not needed if just going N/A. You really dont need custom exhaust. Get your y-pipe, fuck the cat get a strait pipe, then find a good cat back system and be done.

Mine sounds ok I have Y-pipe, racing cat, b-pipe from Stillen, stock muffler (for now)
