Anyone here have a flowmaster setup on a SOHC? I just wanna quiet my shit down, its getting way too loud as more peices of the exhaust fell off on the interstate last night.

I dont wanna bother puttin an expensive exhaust on my cheap ass sohc...

Does the flowmaster sound like total ass? or will i still get a bit of a grumbly tone?

I'll prob do this anyway and will post sound clips when i get it, but i wanna see if anyone has done it b4.

 

Actually i think i'm gonna go with a summitracing.com muffler, its only about 20 dollars for teh most expensive model, it'd prob suit me fine

 

Hey I have a muffler at my house that came on my car. Doesn't sound to bad if you want it let me know.

 

well, i basically dont care how loud out the back the exhaust is, as long as my cabin resonation is gone, its horrible right now and driving at 80 mph totally sucks since the exhaust is exiting under the driver seat..

I am looking at a summit performance muffler, its 14.95 and is 2.5 inch inlet and center 2.5 inch outlet...

I dont want N1 style stuffs casue that attracts attention cop wise. I want cheap, i dont care if its ugly really...

Sound as long as it dosent sound like a bee in a bottle (which my busted stock exhaust dosent) then i'll prob do it..

As far as gains go, i think ANY system would give me more power than this busted stock one.... Especially if i eliminate some of the bends in the stock system... I'll prob gut the cat also..

 

I got a stock exaust system, ill sell cheap! hahaha

looks like vapor has got me sold on dynomax super turbo muffler along with 2.5 piping at rainbow..


Thing that sux is i'm in orlando, anyone know anyone here on O-town that does comparable work with rainbow? I'm gonna call enjuku tommorow and see what ken thinks, but if any of ya know then speak up
