Where to get an SR clip?
Okay, so I find out today whether or not I get approved for my loan. I dont see why I wouldnt get approved, so where can I find an SR front clip somewhere in Fl, so I dont have to pay huge shipping charges?? Thanks everyone!

Why not...I have friends who have taken out a loan to get a motor? Its either I take out a loan for my car and get a motor, or sell my car and take a loan out to buy my friends 97 240sx with a SR in it. Either way Im taking out a loan..and with the personal loan I am getting, I can get part of the front end fixed that is fucked up.

I agree with slash,
try not to build a car on credit!! it will come back to bite you in the ass. take your time, save up, buy each piece when you have the $$. you'll be better off in the long run.
besides...if all your friends:
jumped off a bridge
stepped in front of a bus
killed themselves
would that make it ok for you to do the same? jsut becasue your friends are doign it doesnt mean it is the prudent way to do things.

im with scott on this one. a car is a necessity, but a swap is a luxury. dont take out loans for things like that.
In all honesty it will prolly cost you at the minimum $3500 for an installed swap, and I guarantee you if you buy a >$2000 motor from Soko, Raceup, etc you will end up paying just as much if not more to get it running...not including wasted time and trouble sourcing missing parts.
If you dont have the cash now then start saving. Or since you have a dohc, why not concentrate on upgrading the suspension first. Either way dont get yourself into debt over a swap.
id hate to think what interest rate you're gonna get on a loan like that.

i totally agree with scott and rob, and this is coming from, "THE DEBT KING." you don't want to go into debt over something like that. If your motor runs well, has no problems, why not just put what ever you'd have to pay on that loan a month in a savings account. In the long run you will have saved money on the intrest, and you will have earned this swap(wich will make it more important to you) and god forbid something happens to the car/motor you won't be paying on something that you don't have.
