im gonna hunt out a j30 vlsd

i wanna transfer the diff into my case, how hard is it to do this, is it a direct fit? what output shafts do i use? some1 give me detailed stuffs. please.

funk, i'll hlep you put one in dude, you get it, and i already said it's like $100 for installation..

 

Why is it that people swap cases? After monkeying with the front mounting points, I just bolted that thing in. I had a Z32 case, and an S13 open diff for spare parts that I didn't use. I just didn't want to risk messing up the backlash and side loading clearance by swapping stuff around. The only pain was getting the 5 bolt axles. 36mm axle nuts are a pain.

the 95-96 J30 VLSD 3x2 bolt pattern should bolt right it.

i know it bolted up to my buddies s14 and my other buddies s13

because the rubber bushings in the 14/ z32 housing go bad and cause massive wheelhop even when u shim them up..

 

I went to see Taylor yesterday the diff that he put in was already trashed i belive he's goping to buy a kaz i duno im going to buy a diff soon for me i ran horrible at sunshine tire kept spinning
